Quarterback Tivon Cook of the St. Francis Xavier X-Men is the Atlantic University Sport Football Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 6, 2013.

Cook, a 5-foot-10, second-year arts student from Scarborough, Ont., threw three touchdown passes in the X-Men's 30-9 Homecoming victory over the Mount Allison Mounties on Saturday.
He completed 26-of-36 pass attempts for 274 yards with no interceptions.

Linebacker Sanmi Adereti of the St. Francis Xavier X-Men is the Atlantic University Sport Football Defensive Player of the Week.

A third-year arts student in his fifth year of eligibility hailing from Brampton, Ont., Adereti had nine tackles (seven solo and four assisted) in StFX's 30-9 Homecoming victory over the Mount Allison Mounties.

His nine tackles included four tackles for a loss of 18 yards, two of which were sacks, for a combined loss of 15 yards.

Adereti is currently seventh overall in AUS tackles with 30.5 on the season and third in sacks with 5.5.

Defensive back Michael Bohan of the Mount Allison Mounties is the Atlantic University Sport Football Special Teams Player of the Week.

Bohan, a second-year chemistry student from Sackville, N.B., had 10 punt returns for 210 yards, including a 78-yard punt return for a touchdown in the Mounties' 30-9 loss to the StFX X-Men on Saturday. His 210 yards are a Mount Allison school record and are the second most punt return yards by and individual in a single game in AUS history. This is just 10 yards shy of the all-time conference record of 220 yards set by Acadia's Scott Crichton in 1972.

His stats also included four kickoff returns for 78 yards for an average of 19.5 yards per return.

In addition to his impressive stats on special teams, Bohan also had five assisted tackles on defence.
