Coach Chisholm has been coaching the running backs at StFX for the better part of the last 20 years, and has also spent time coaching linebackers and special teams, working with several different head coaches and numerous different staff members.

“The ‘constant’ that exists for X-Men football is Coach Chisholm,” comments head coach John Bloomfield. “He is an extremely positive person who exerts a very constructive presence. He is beloved by our players and I regularly receive correspondences from alumni to pass along their best wishes to Coach Chisholm.”

A lifelong educator, Coach Chisholm has made the X-Men study-hall program into a shining example of success. The team boasts a high graduation rate and a number of Academic All-Canadians who will all point to the assistance provided them by Coach Chisholm, in their freshman year at X and beyond, in preparing them for success on and off the field.

Terry’s son Kyle is currently the kicker on the X-Men team, and son Adam is also on the X roster. His oldest son Craig played at StFX from 2000-04.

Terry is the third X-Men volunteer coach to win the Gino Fracas award. Kevin Artichuk won in 2000 and Phil Hughes in 1989.

“Terry Chisholm is one of the finest gentlemen I have ever encountered,” says Coach Bloomfield. “I am proud to have him on our staff and X-Men Football is privileged to have him in our program. He is most worthy of recognition of his years of service.”
