StFX dominates McGill 40-7
The StFX X-Men were able to shut down one of the most prolific passers in CIS history and beat the McGill Redmen 40-7 in front of a crowd of over 500 at Oland Stadium.

McGill quarterback Matt Connell completed 50 per cent of his passes for a total of 181 yards and two interceptions. He did throw a late touchdown, but the X-Men defence shut the McGill offence down for the majority of the afternoon. StFX also had a huge day offensively, racking up 512 total yards of offence. X-Men quarterback Steve Snyder was 16-for-35 with 309 yards, a touchdown and an interception.

AUS rushing leader James Green added 93 yards and a touchdown to his totals for the season, before suffering an injury in the third quarter that sidelined him for the remainder of the game. Jeremy Marchand had two rushing touchdowns for the X-Men, while kicker Kyle Chisholm was 3-for-3 on field goals.

StFX (3-3) will travel to Acadia next weekend to take on the Axemen. McGill (0-6) will regroup and look to get their first win against a tough squad from Montreal. Connell needs only 119 passing yards to break the CIS career all-time passing record.
