X-Women hockey forward Janelle Parent is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. Janelle recently completed her second year eligibility (third year studies) with the X-Women and is an Arts student from Panoka, AB. 
 

What brought you to StFX?
The successful athletic program and when I did my recruit trip, I just had the feeling it was the most fitting place to be; home away from home.

What has been your best moment in a StFX uniform so far?
Representing StFX at nationals

What are you most looking forward to this season?
Another opportunity at nationals and making history!

Who has been the most influential person in your life (and why)?
My parents, I would not be here without the commitment and support of them all along the way.

One thing I cannot live without is…?
Country music

My dream vacation destination is…?
Australia
