February 20, 2008 (HALIFAX, NS) - Atlantic University Sport is pleased to announce the 2007-08 women's hockey all-star teams as selected by the conference's eight head coaches.\r\n
The first place StFX X-Women and second place Saint Mary's Huskies took home five of the six first team positions up for grabs, including league scoring leader Brayden Ferguson of StFX and Marilynn Hay, the conference's top scoring defenseman, also of StFX. In just her second year, Hay's 25 assists and 28 points this season are both new conference single season records for a blue-liner, while Ferguson's 50 points (25g, 25a) this year make her the first ever player to break the 50-point plateau twice in a career.
