X-Women Hockey Evening of X-Cellence

Feb 11, 2008 - The X-Women hockey team will be hosting their second annual Evening of X-Cellence Gala Event on Thursday, Feb. 14 at the Keating Millennium Centre starting at 6:30 pm. The fundraiser event will take place during their game against the Dalhousie Tigers. Attendees can watch the game from the comfort of the Keating Centre Hospitality Suites while enjoying great food provided by Gabrieau’s Bistro and Culinary Closet, coupled with beverage sampling, courtesy of Bishop’s Cellars and Hardy Wines, Molson Canadian and Bacardi. Food and beverages will be available throughout the duration of the game, and certified Sommelier, Marc Gabrieau will be present all evening to assist with any questions on the fine wines being served. Following the game, the X-Women will be hosting a live and silent auction. All friends and fans of StFX are welcome to come out and pamper themselves and their loved one this Valentine’s Day for great food, great beverage and great hockey! Tickets cost $40 each or 2 for $75 and are available by contacting the Athletics office at 902-867-2152.
