Geoff has a long and varied commitment to basketball in Antigonish.  Following a successful career as a high school and provincial team player, Geoff quickly transitioned into the role of a referee and youth coach.  He coached both high school and community club basketball over the past decade, and most recently worked as an assistant coach with Basketball Nova Scotia’s U14 and U15 Boys’ provincial teams. 

After working for six seasons as a panel official in the AUS, Geoff joined the X-Women coaching staff in 2012-13, picking up the clip board and putting away his referee whistle away. Geoff works as an Instructor in the Department of Human Kinetics and lives in Antigonish with his wife Stephanie (a former X-Woman) and their three young children Kate, Ian, and Leah.
