Basketball X-Women lose to visiting Huskies
Justine Colley scored 32 points to lead the visiting Saint Mary’s Huskies to a 76-56 win over the StFX X-Women Saturday evening at Oland Centre in Antigonish.

The all-Canadian guard added five rebounds, five steals, four assists and one block.

The Huskies, who led 29-25 at halftime, outscored the X-Women 47-31 in the second half.

Kolbi Roper led the blue and white with 19 points and nine rebounds, while fourth-year guard Rebecca Sheehan chipped in eight points, seven rebounds and three steals.

Lia St. Pierre supplied nine points, six rebounds, two assists and one steal, with Jocelyn Moore adding seven points, five rebounds, two assists and one steal for the X-Women.

Naomie Frequiere hit double digits for the Huskies with 14, while Laura Langille contributed eight points and eight rebounds.

With the loss, the X-Women fall to 3-3, while the CIS #4 ranked Huskies improve to 6-0.

The X-Women will wrap up their regular season schedule prior to the Christmas break on the road Wednesday, Nov. 28 when they play the Acadia Axewomen. Game time is 6 p.m. in Wolfville.
