X-Women head coach Augy Jones commented, “I am very proud of the team, for us to get to the AUS final in my first year is a testament to the type of players we have on the team and the coaching staff. We have a big game tomorrow and I am proud of them for getting as far as we have gotten. We are really excited about tomorrow and hopefully StFX will be cheering us on.”

Jones mentioned the efforts of Lia St Pierre. “She is outstanding and had a great game today. We needed her today and she did a great job rebounding, she passed the ball when she needed to, and she made big shots when she needed to.”

Along with St. Pierre’s 25 points, second year guard Vanessa Pickard scored 18 points and had five rebounds and five assists. Kolbi Roper chipped in with eight points and Lindsay Lessard scored seven.
