X-Women basketball forward Rebecca Sheehan is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. Rebecca recently completed her second year with the X-Women and is a Human Kinetics student from Fredericton, NB.

What brought you to StFX?
Coach Skinn recruited me and StFX seemed like the perfect school for me.

What has been your best moment in a StFX uniform so far?
Playing at nationals in Windsor this past season, in front of my family.

What are you most looking forward to this season?
I'm excited to have new teammates and to host the AUS championship.

Who has been the most influential person in your life (and why)?
The most influential person in my life has been both my parents. They have been so supportive and have always pushed me to succeed in sports, and life in general.

One thing I cannot live without is…?
Chocolate

My dream vacation destination is…?
Greece!!
