X-Men track team opens season

The StFX track and field team got off to a pretty good start this season. Moncton played host to the first meet of the season this past Saturday and both the men’s and women’s teams had top finishers in multiple events.

On the men’s side, Brent Addison and teammate Robert Lavers dominated the competition in the long distance races. Addison and Lavers finished one-two respectively in both the 1500 and 3000 metre races. Also having a great weekend for the X-Men was Kyle Tramble. Tramble grabbed the top spot in the 1000 metre race and also had a second place finish in the 600m. Andrew Freme finished in second behind Tramble in the 1000m.
