Two X-Women track runners compete at nationals

The X-Women sent a pair of runners to the CIS championship this past weekend in Windsor, ON.

Third year runner Monika Preibischova (Czech Republic) competed in the 3000m race and finished a respectable 7th place overall. Monika ran the race in a time of 9:48.26. Rachel Cliff of Guelph University was the race winner at 9:21.29.

\r\n

Fourth year runner Kelly MacDonald (Montague, PE) participated in the women’s 1500m race and placed 12th overall, running in a time of 4:40.51. Megan Brown of the University of Toronto, the 2009 CIS cross country champion, won the race in a time of 4:23.27.

The CIS championship wraps up the indoor season for the X-Women track and field team.
