“I did feel that the guys played poorly out there today and we now know that we have some work to do, but we were fortunate to come away with the 2-0 win,” commented first year head coach Graham Kennedy.

Kennedy already has a 3-0 exhibition record and now improves his winning streak after earning the first regular season victory today.

Acadia keeper Andrew MacRae was the Player of the Game for the Axemen, facing six X-Men shots. Andrew MacDonald, a first year keeper from Antigonish, NS, earned the shut out victory in nets for StFX.
