ANTIGONISH, NS – StFX men's hockey head coach Brad Peddle is pleased to unveil a unique fundraiser to his program, a trip-a-month dream draw.

"We are really excited with this fundraising initiative," comments Coach Peddle. "We hope to reach out to our loyal local supporters and fans, as well engage as many supporters and alumni as possible from across the country, not only with the dream draw but with the X-Men hockey program itself."

The trip-a-month dream draw will assist the X Men in their fundraising efforts for this season and in building towards future financial stability in an effort to maintain the standards and traditions of StFX men's hockey. Monies raise will and aid in the funding of scholarships for student-athletes and for out-of-conference travel, both critical factors for success and key components in building a CIS championship program.
 
The StFX X-Men hockey trip-a-month dream draw features 12 dream trips with dozens of great second and third place prizes. Tickets cost $120 each and a total of 500 will be sold. Each draw will take place on the first day of the month with the first draw scheduled for January 1, 2014. Some of the dream trips involve include getaways to Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Cuba and Mexico, as well as NHL and MLB getaways and a golf getaway.
