StFX Fitness and Recreation have several passionate Personal Fitness Specialist who focus on a wide variety of wellness areas.  Our Trainers are recognized by national organizations. (CPTN, Can Fit Pro, CSEP, IDEA, YMCA, NCCP, CKA).and has current CPR level “A”.

Personal Fitness Specialist will help you:

  • Maximize your workout to fit your schedule
  • Enhance your mind, body , and spirit

  • Reduce the chance of injury by learning proper exercise technique

What is included in a Personal Training Session? 

  • Free consultation with trainer that includes Health Fitness questionnaire, Physical Activities Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) and goal setting session
  • 1 hour of individualized training that will include Cardiovascular, Resistance, and Flexibility training
  • A progression chart to log daily training sessions
  • Motivation, exercise demonstration and constructive feedback
