X-Women basketball guard Kim Kingsbury was named the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Feb. 18, 2018. Kim, a first year Arts & Science health student from Nepean, ON, received player of the game honours in the X-Women’s close loss to Memorial on Saturday night. She scored a team-high 16 points and also contributed 6 rebounds and 3 assists. In Sunday’s loss to the same MUN squad, she played another strong game off the X-Women bench, scoring 7 points and adding 2 rebounds and an assist. Kim currently leads the team in scoring this season, averaging 7.2 points/game.
