X-Women sprinter/jumper Hayley Wilson was named co-winner of the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Feb. 25, 2018. Hayley, a fifth year Science student from Skye Glen, NS won three individual medals and took home a fourth medal as a member of the 4x200m relay team at the recent AUS Championship. She was the AUS champion in the triple jump with an 11.28m finish, along with winning bronze in the 60m dash (7.89) and the challenging pentathlon event (3240). Hayley also placed 4th in the high jump (1.48m) and 6th in the shot put (10.47m), and wrapped up the weekend with a silver medal performance with the X-Women 4x200m relay team (1:45.70).

X-Women sprinter Allie Flower was named co-winner of the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Feb. 25, 2018. Allie, a fourth year Human Nutrition student from Lunenburg, NS won two individual medals and two relay team medals at the recent AUS championship. She was the AUS champion in the 300m dash with a time of 40.36, then followed up with a silver medal in the 600m with a time of 1:36.98. She added two more silver medals as a member of both the X-Women 4x200m relay team (1:45.70) and 4x400m relay team (4:04.22).
