StFX soccer youth camp still has openings

ANTIGONISH, NS – StFX soccer Camp Director Trevor Reddick has announced that there are still openings for this summer’s youth camp, scheduled to take place August 1-5, 2011 on the campus of StFX University.

“We are pleased to once again offer three different camp options for boys and girls aged 4-18, all taking place the week of August 1st,” comments X-Women soccer head coach and camp director Trevor Reddick. “We have a top-notch staff consisting of X-Men and X-Women soccer athletes who are excited to lead the campers through a variety of activities.”

The 10th annual StFX All-Star soccer camp features a mini camp option for youth aged 4-7, a day camp option for youth aged 8 and older, and an overnight camp option for youth aged 12 and older. All camps take place at StFX University on the turf field and grass soccer field where campers will participate in a variety of soccer-specific skills and activities. Registration includes daily soccer drills and lessons, game instruction, competitions, awards, player evaluations, a camp T-shirt and soccer ball, and the week closes out with a barbeque and game against the parents.
