Subway STFX Female Athlete of the Week

X-Women Basketball forward Ekaterina Karchevskaya was named the STFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 28, 2024. Ekaterina, a 3rd year Arts student from Mogilev, Belarus led the X-Women in scoring in their two games this week. In Wednesday’s 76-60 loss to SMU, she scored a game-high 21 points and added 6 rebounds, 3 assists and a steal. She followed up with a career-high (and game-high) 29 points Friday night’s in STFX’s 77-60 win on the road against CBU, and had 3 rebounds, 3 assists and a steal in being named the player of the game. Ekaterina currently leads the team in scoring, averaging 13.3 points/game.
