Subway STFX Male Athlete of the Week

X-Men Basketball guard Gatluak James was named STFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 8, 2024. Gatluak, a fourth year Human Kinetics student from Windsor, ON played two strong games for the X-Men in a pair of weekend wins over Memorial. In Friday’s 89-65 win, he had a double-double night, scoring 13 points and adding 10 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. He followed up with a team-high 20 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal in Saturday’s 85-75 comeback win and was named player of the game. Gatluak is currently averaging 12.1 points per game and 7.0 rebounds per game.
