X-Women Rugby head coach Mike Cavanagh enters the Hall of Fame as a Builder and is the winningest rugby coach in CIS history. After his 17th season with the X-Women, the nine-time AUS Coach of Year had a career coaching record of 122-31-5 which includes regular season, AUS and CIS playoff games.  Mike’s regular season coaching record is 81-3-2. He earned the distinction of CIS Coach of the Year in 2001 and 2012, and was the recipient of an honourary X-Ring in 2013 after guiding his team to their 4th CIS national championship title. In addition to winning 16 consecutive AUS conference titles from 1999 to 2014, Coach Cavanagh’s X-Women have taken home the prestigious CIS Monilex trophy in 2006, 2010, 2012 and 2014.  Mike has led the X-Women to 14 consecutive first place finishes with only one AUS playoff game loss as his team is consistently ranked in the CIS top 10 each year.
