In his two years with the StFX men’s basketball team, Randy Nohr was the ultimate team leader guiding the X-Men to back-to-back conference and national championship titles in 2000 and 2001. Randy was recognized as an AUAA all-star in both seasons, along with being honoured as a first team CIAU All-Canadian in 2001. A leader on the court, Randy scored the game-winning basket that earned the team the national championship title in 2000; and was also a key player on the 2001 team, in particular, during overtime in the championship game victory. For his efforts he was recognized as the tournament most valuable player in both years. Finally, Randy was recognized as the StFX male athlete of the year in 2001.
