X-Women Rugby to play UPEI in AUS semi-final Thursday in Charlottetown

The STFX X-Women will be heading to Charlottetown Thursday afternoon for a 2:00 pm AUS semi-final game against the UPEI Panthers. The X-Women (3-3) finished in third place in the AUS standings, while the Panthers (4-2) finished in second place, earnign the right to host the playoff game. The winner will meet the first place Acadia Axewomen (5-1) in Wolfville, N.S. on October 26th.

The complete schedule for the 2022 Subway AUS Rugby Championship, presented by Bell, is as follows:

Subway AUS Rugby Semi-final

Thursday, October 20, 2:00pm
-STFX (3) at UPEI (2) 

Subway AUS Rugby Championship Final

Wednesday, October 26, 6:00pm
- Semi-final winner at Acadia University (1)

Both the championship semi-final and final will be streamed live via www.AUStv.ca.

The two AUS finalists will earn berths at the 2022 U SPORTS Rugby Championship, which will be hosted by University of Victoria in Victoria, BC from November 2-6.
