Maggy Burbidge of the STFX X-Women women's hockey team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport women's athlete of the week for the week ending November 20, 2022.

A third-year arts student from Falmouth, Nova Scotia, Burbidge had seven points in two road games last week, extending her season total to 29 points (17 goals, 12 assists). She currently leads the country in both points and goals scored. In STFX's 8-1 win over the Dalhousie Tigers on Wednesday, Burbidge had a goal and an assist. She followed that up with a five-point game, tallying two goals and three assists the X-Women's 7-0 win over STU on Saturday. She was named the Subway player of the game for her offensive efforts.

Jason Callaghan of the Cape Breton Capers men's basketball team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport male athlete of the week for the week ending November 20, 2022.

An education student from Sydney, Nova Scotia, Callaghan put on an offensive display on Saturday as his team scored a 102-91 victory over the Saint Mary's Huskies. With the Capers trailing 29-23 early in the second quarter, the veteran guard reserve sank a foul shot to trim Saint Mary's edge to five. The free throw ignited an 18-4 spurt for CBU with Callaghan scoring every Capers point. He finished with a game-high 34 points, on a sensational 13-for-19 from the field and six-for-eight from the charity stripe. He also had six rebounds and five assists in only 26 minutes on the floor and was named the Subway player of the game.
