Ice X-Women grab 5th win

Christina Davis scored twice and Marilynn Hay added three assists as the StFX X-Women skated to a 3-0 win over the Dalhousie Tigers on Saturday.

Davis got her first goal in the game just over six minutes into the first period. Neither team would score again until Davis got her second with 2:40 left in the game. Brayden Ferguson added an empty netter for StFX. Hay leads is leading all AUS defensemen in points with nine.

The X-Women out shot the Tigers 28-20 and Katie Harvieux earned her first shutout for the blue and white this season. Harvieux also sits in third in the conference with a 1.29 goals against average.

StFX stays on the road this weekend with a trip to conference leading Moncton on Friday and then on to St. Thomas on Saturday.
