Halifax, NS - The StFX X-Men (2-2-2) returned to the win column in AUS soccer play with a 2-0 victory over the Saint Mary's Huskies Saturday afternoon.

In the 33^rd minute, fifth-year senior midfielder Randy Ribeiro (Cambridge, ON) gave the visitors a 1-0 advantage.

Freshman midfielder Ben Herringer (Calgary, AB) doubled the lead in the 84^th minute.

The X-Men held a 19-7 edge in shots on goal.

Sophomore goalkeeper Thomas Pieroway (Conception Bay, NF) made three saves for the win, while Christian Oxner (Halifax, NS) turned aside 10 shots for the Huskies.

The X-Men will be back on the pitch Sunday, Oct. 4, when they host the Acadia Axewomen.

The StFX Homecoming 2015 match-up is set for 3:15 p.m. at Oland Stadium.
