MOST VALUABLE PLAYER (Kelly Trophy): Mika Cyr, Aigles Bleus UMoncton
The Atlantic University Sport men's hockey most valuable player for the 2025-26 season is Mika Cyr from the Aigles Bleus of Université de Moncton.
A Master of Education student in his fifth year of eligibility from Saint-Anne, N.B., Cyr led the Aigles Bleus this season with 39 points (19 goals and 20 assists), finishing fourth in conference scoring.
He led the Moncton team to a 19-9-1-1 regular season record, a second-place finish in the conference standings and a first-round bye through to the playoff semifinals.
In addition to being named the conference's top player, Cyr was also named to the AUS First-Team All-Star squad today for the first time in his career.
Last season, he earned the Don Wells Trophy as the conference's Most Sportsmanlike Player. He then went on to earn the honour at the national level, winning the U SPORTS R. W. Pugh Award.
Cyr becomes the fourth player in Aigles Bleus program history to earn the conference MVP award, and the first since the 1996-97 season when Jean-François Gregoire earned the honour for Moncton.
Cyr now becomes the AUS nominee for the U SPORTS Senator Joseph A. Sullivan Trophy as the nation's top player. UNB's Philippe Maillet is the most recent player from the AUS to be named national MVP. He won the award in 2016-17. The only player in Université de Moncton school history to earn the national honour was Dave Quigley in 1986-87.
ROOKIE OF THE YEAR (A.J. MacAdam Trophy): Jeremy D'Astous, Aigles Bleus UMoncton
The Atlantic conference rookie of the year and recipient of the A.J. MacAdam Trophy for the 2025-26 season is Aigles Bleus forward Jeremy D'Astous.
An education student from Saint-Eugène-de-Ladrière, Que., D'Astous appeared in 29 games for the Aigles Bleus this season. He tallied 11 goals and 21 assists to lead all freshmen in scoring with 39 points on the season.
He helped lead Moncton to a second-place finish in the conference standings with a 19-9-1-1 regular season record.

In addition to being honoured as the conference's top rookie, D'Astous was also named to the AUS All-Rookie Team today.
He now becomes the Atlantic conference nominee for the Clare Drake Award for U SPORTS rookie of the year.
AUS players have earned the national honour in five of the last seven seasons—with former UNB standout goaltender Samuel Richard earning it most recently in 2022-23.
MOST SPORTSMANLIKE PLAYER (Don Wells Trophy): Cody Morgan, UNB REDS
In his fourth season with the U SPORTS No. 4-ranked UNB REDS, forward Cody Morgan has been chosen as the Atlantic University Sport most sportsmanlike player and recipient of the Don Wells Trophy.
A business student from Gilford, Ont., Morgan appeared in all 30 games this season for UNB. He led the first-place REDS in team scoring with 18 goals and 22 assists for 40 points—finishing third in conference scoring.
He amassed just two minor penalties all season.
In addition to being named the league's most sportsmanlike player, Morgan was also named an AUS First Team All-Star today for the first time in his career. In 2022-23, he was also named a member of the AUS All-Rookie team.
Morgan now becomes the Atlantic conference nominee for U SPORTS' R. W. Pugh Award for most sportsmanlike player.
An AUS player has taken home the national honour for four straight seasons, including 2025-26 MVP Mika Cyr from the Aigles Bleus last season, and former REDS standout Brady Gilmour in 2023-24.
STUDENT-ATHLETE COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD (The Godfrey Award): Charlie Da Fonseca, Saint Mary's Huskies
The 2025-26 recipient of the Godfrey Award for student-athlete community service and AUS nominee for the prestigious Dr. Randy Gregg Award is Charlie Da Fonseca from the Saint Mary's Huskies.
Named for Dr. Bill Godfrey, this award is given annually to the player who best represents the spirit of intercollegiate hockey by his leadership both on and off the ice and by his conduct throughout the season.
A fourth-year MBA student and Saint Mary's team captain from Thornhill, Ont., Da Fonseca appeared in 27 games for the Huskies this season. He finished second in AUS in assists with 24 and added nine goals for 33 points.
In the classroom, Da Fonseca has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement throughout his time at Saint Mary's. He completed his undergraduate degree with a 4.26 GPA, earning Dean's List honours each year and graduating with a Summa Cum Laude distinction. Now pursuing his Master of Business Administration, he has posted a 4.08 GPA in his first semester while also volunteering his time to tutor teammates in Commerce.
Da Fonseca has also made a significant impact in the community. He has played a key role in the Motionball Marathon of Sport in support of Special Olympics Canada, serving as both an organizer and team captain.

Da Fonseca now becomes the AUS nominee for the Dr. Randy Gregg Award.
An Atlantic conference player most recently earned the national honour last season, when former UNB standout Cole MacKay received the award. Former Huskies standout Matt Welsh is the most recent Saint Mary's player to win the U SPORTS honour. He was the Dr. Randy Gregg Award recipient in 2022-23.
COACH OF THE YEAR (Bob Boucher Trophy): Derek Cormier, Aigles Bleus UMoncton
In his fourth season leading the Moncton Aigles Bleus men's hockey team, Derek Cormier has been chosen by his peers as the 2025-26 AUS coach of the year.
This is his second consecutive season earning the honour.
Coach Cormier led the Aigles Bleus to a 19-9-1-1 regular season record, a second-place finish in the conference standings and a first-round bye through to the playoff semifinals.
In the 2025-26 regular season, the Aigles Bleus established themselves as one of the conference's most defensively reliable teams. Moncton allowed just 17 power-play goals against—a league-best mark—while ranking second in both penalty kill percentage (85.6) and save percentage (.918).
The team also finished third in goals against (79) and goals-against average (2.59), reflecting a structured, detail-oriented approach that consistently limited opponents' opportunities.
Cormier is the first Moncton coach to win the Bob Boucher Trophy in back-to-back seasons.
He now becomes the Atlantic conference nominee for the Father George Kehoe Memorial Award as the U SPORTS coach of the year. Former UNB bench boss Gardiner MacDougall is the most recent Atlantic conference recipient of the national honour. He was named U SPORTS coach of the year in 2023-24.
