Final 8 host committee announces Steele Subaru as presenting sponsor

HALIFAX, NS - The U SPORTS Final 8 Host Committee announced on January 23 that Steele Subaru is the Presenting Sponsor of the 2023 U SPORTS Final 8 Men's Basketball Championship.

The 2023 Final 8 presented by Steele Subaru, will be hosted at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, March 10-12. This year's tournament represents the 36th time the Final 8 has been staged and hosted in Halifax going all the way back to 1965!

The format features the eight (8) best university basketball teams in Canada including host STFX and one (1) other team from the AUS. Teams will play eleven (11) games over three (3) days to determine the winner of the W.G. McKee Trophy. Also prominent in this year's tournament will be a celebration of Steve "Coach K" Konchalski's record-setting career as head coach at STFX. Konchalski will also serve as the Tournament's Honourary Chair.

Steele Subaru's sponsorship continues a partnership first established in 2018 and represents the fourth (4th) occasion as a primary sponsor.
