X-Men basketball welcomes JJ Sedore to line-up

Antigonish, NS – StFX X-Men basketball coach Steve Konchalski is pleased to announce the addition guard JJ Sedore to the X-Men line-up for the 2019-20 season.

The 6'2" Brampton, Ont. native played for the past three years at the Athletes Institute Basketball Academy in Orangeville, Ont. A scoring guard with deep three point range, Sedore played for the Athletes Institute Red team this past season where he averaged 22 points/game, five assists/game and three rebounds/game before his season was cut short by injury. He has also played in the Nike Bounce program in the summer months, including being a representative at the U17 level in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL).

X-Men coach Steve Konchalski is excited about this addition to the 2019-20 recruiting class, noting, "JJ is a proven scorer with a high basketball IQ who has played at a high level both at the Athletes Institute and Bounce. With the way the game is played today, spreading the court to the three point line, he will add to what is evolving into a strong X-Men recruiting class."

Sedore joins previously announced X-Men recruits Avan Nava, Dondre Reddick and Jaxon Smith.
