Pita Pit X-Men Football Offensive Player of the Week
X-Men receiver Isaac Fagnan was named the StFX Football Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 27, 2021. Isaac, a fifth year Business student from Bonnyville, AB was the top X-Men receiver in their U SPORTS Mitchell Bowl loss to Western on Saturday. Isaac finished with five receptions for 76 yards, and also had one kick-off return (11 yards) and two punt returns (11 yards) on special teams play. The AUS all-star wrapped up his five year career with the X-Men playing in his final game on Saturday. 

Pita Pit X-Men Football Defensive Player of the Week
X-Men linebacker Ben Von Muehldorfer was named the StFX Football Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 27, 2021. Ben, a second year Education student (5th year eligibility) from Calgary, AB led all defenders in tackling in the X-Men's U SPORTS Mitchell Bowl loss to Western on Saturday. Ben had 10 tackles in the game including seven solo tackles. The AUS all-star and captain of the X-Men wrapped up his five year career with STFX playing in his final game on Saturday. 

Pita Pit X-Men Football Special Teams Player of the Week
X-Men kicker/punter Max Capriotti was named the StFX Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 27, 2021. Max, a 3rd year Human Kinetics student from Mount Hope, ON scored all six points Saturday in the X-Men's U SPORTS Mitchell Bowl loss to Western. Max kicked field goals from 47 and 42 yards. He also had seven punts in the game for 247 yards, averaging 35.3 yards/punt. Max was an AUS special teams all-star this past season.
