StFX's Silas Fagnan is the AUS offensive player of the week for the week ending November 21, 2021. 

A third-year arts student from Bonnyville, Alberta, he received the AUS championship MVP award for his performance in the X-Men's 25-17 Loney Bowl win over the Bishop's Gaiters on Saturday. Fagnan was 22-36 in the championship game, with 304 receiving yards. He also had four rushes for 45 yards, helping to lead an X-Men second-half comeback and win the 2021 AUS conference title.

Earlier in the week, Fagnan was named both an AUS all-star and the 2021 most outstanding player of the year. He led the AUS in passing—and was ranked fourth nationally—with an average of 259.4 yards per game, and threw a league-leading 10 passing touchdowns, the fifth-most in the country.

StFX's Makayeo Hall is the AUS football defensive player of the week for the week ending November 21, 2021.  

A third-year arts student from Ottawa, Ontario, he was a defensive force in StFX's 25-17 AUS Loney Bowl championship win over Bishop's on Saturday. Hall led the X-Men in tackles in the championship game, with seven solo tackles, helping his team excel on the defensive side of the ball in the victory.

Special Teams Player of the Week
Name: Max Capriotti
University: St. Francis Xavier University
Position: Kicker/Punter
Hometown: Mount Hope, Ontario
Year of eligibility: Second
Academic program: Bachelor of Arts, Human Kinetics
Height and weight: 5'8", 175lbs  

StFX's Max Capriotti is the AUS football special teams player of the week for the week ending November 21, 2021.  

A second-year kicker/punter from Mount Hope, Ontario, he scored 13 points in the X-Men's 25-17 championship win over Bishop's on Saturday, with four field goals and an extra point. Capriotti kicked field goals from 34, 37, 22 and 33 yards out, including a key fourth-quarter field goal that gave the X-Men an 18-10 lead. He also had six punts in the game for 250 yards, averaging 41.7 yards/punt, and three kicks inside the 20.

Earlier in the week Capriotti was named to the 2021 AUS all-star team; he led the conference in regular-season scoring, with 61 points.
