MacKellar and Ross selected in 2022 CFL draft
May 04, 2022A pair of STFX X-Men were selected in the 2022 Canadian Football League (CFL) entry draft Thursday evening. Offensive lineman Gregor MacKellar was chosen sixth overall in the first round by the Toronto Argonauts, while tight end Connor Ross was chosen 58th overall in the seventh round by the Ottawa Redblacks. -

February 17, 2022Four STFX X-Men football players have been selected to attend upcoming CFL Combines. Receivers Benoit Cormier (Moncton, NB) and Isaac Fagnan (Bonnyville, AB), along with fullback Connor Ross (Coldbrook, NS) have been selected to attend the Eastern Regional Combine in Baie-D’Urfé, Que., while X-Men offensive lineman Gregor MacKellar (Timberlea, NS) will particiate at the CFL National Combine in Toronto.
