McDonald's X-Men Football Offensive Player of the Week
X-Men receiver Michael Forsey was named the StFX Football Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Aug. 31, 2019. Michael, a 3rd year Human Kinetics student (2nd year eligibility) from Bedford, NS scored a 24 yard touchdown in the 4th quarter of the X-Men's recent loss at Bishop's, one of two in the game. The touchdown was the first of his AUS career. Michael also had a 26 yard reception in the game for 50 total yards.

McDonald's X-Men Football Defensive Player of the Week
X-Men defensive lineman Alex Fedchun was named the StFX Football Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Aug. 31, 2019. Alex, a 2nd year Human Kinetics student from Calgary, Alta. had 10 tackles in the X-Men's recent loss at Bishop's with eight solo tackles and four assisted. Michael also had a break-up and a pair of sacks for a combined loss of six yards. Early in the AUS season he is second overall in tackling with 18.5. 

McDonald's X-Men Football Special Teams Player of the Week
X-Men defensive back Liam Wilde was named the StFX Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the week of Aug. 31, 2019.  Liam, a 2nd year Arts student from Calgary, Alta. played a strong game for the X-Men on special teams coverage in their recent loss at Bishop's. He had three solo and four assisted tackles and was key on the punt return coverage unit.
