Tailback Ashton Dickson of the StFX X-Men is the Atlantic University Sport football offensive player of the week for the week ending Nov. 8, 2015.

A fourth-year arts student in his fifth year of eligibility, Dickson scored two touchdowns in the X-Men's 26-4 win over the Acadia Axemen in the 2015 Subway AUS football championship semifinal Saturday.

He scored on a three-yard touchdown run in the second quarter and a 37-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

Dickson had 26 carries for 153 yards in the game as well as a reception for 18 yards, totalling 171 all-purpose yards.

With the win, the X-Men advance to the 2015 Subway AUS Loney Bowl being hosted by Mount Allison University in Sackville, N.B. Saturday, Nov. 14 at 2 p.m.

He finished the regular season as the AUS rushing leader with 160 carries for 866 yards. He also led the conference in all-purpose yards with 1,320.

Defensive lineman Jimmie Cunningham of the St. Francis Xavier X-Men is the Atlantic University Sport football defensive player of the week.

A second-year arts student in his first year of eligibility from Niagara Falls, Ont., Cunningham led all StFX defenders with six tackles in StFX's 26-4 semifinal playoff win over Acadia on Saturday.

He had five solo and two assisted tackles, including one tackle for a loss of two yards.

Wide receiver Randy Roseway of the St. Francis Xavier X-Men is the Atlantic University Sport football special teams player of the week for the week.

A fifth-year arts student from Ottawa, Ont., Roseway had three punt returns for 43 yards on Saturday in the X-Men's 26-4 AUS semifinal playoff win.

This included a 30-yard return in the third quarter which set up a touchdown on the ensuing play. Roseway also had five receptions for 58 yards in the game.

X-Men Football Offensive Athlete of the Week
X-Men tailback Ashton Dickson was named the StFX Football Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 8, 2015. Ashton, a 4th year Arts student (5th year eligibility) from Ottawa, ON scored two touchdowns in the X-Men's 26-4 AUS semifinal win over Acadia Saturday. He scored a 3 yard TD run in the 2nd quarter and a 37 yarder in the 3rd quarter. Ashton had 26 carries for 153 yards in the game, as well as 1 reception for 18 yards totaling 171 all-purpose yards. He wrapped up the AUS season as the leader in both all-purpose yards (1320) and rushing yards (866), with 160 carries on the season, averaging 108.3 yards per game. 

X-Men Football Defensive Athlete of the Week
X-Men defensive lineman Jimmie Cunningham was named the StFX Football Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 8, 2015. Jimmie, a second year Arts student from Niagara Falls, ON led all StFX defenders with 6 tackles in StFX's 26-4 AUS semifinal playoff win over Acadia on Saturday. He had 5 solo and 2 assisted tackles, along with one tackle for a loss of 2 yards. 

X-Men Football Special Teams Athlete of the Week
X-Men returner/receiver Randy Roseway was named the StFX Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 8, 2015. Randy, a fifth year Arts student from Ottawa, ON had 4 punt returns for 49 yards on Saturday in the X-Men's 26-4 AUS quarter-final playoff victory, including a 30 yard return in the 3rd quarter which set up a touchdown on the ensuing play. Randy also had 5 receptions for 58 yards in the game. He wrapped up the AUS regular season 5th overall in AUS all-purpose yards with 735.
