X-Men Football Offensive Player of the Week
X-Men tailback Ashton Dickson was named the StFX Football Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 18, 2015. Ashton, a 4th year Arts student (5th year eligibility) from Ottawa, ON scored two touchdowns in the X-Men's 30-6 win over SMU on Saturday. He rushed for 1 yard and 6 yard major scores in the second quarter. Ashton had 23 carries in the game for 136 yards. He currently leads the AUS in rushing yards/game with 86.3, along with total yards (518) and total carries (99).  

X-Men Football Defensive Player of the Week
X-Men defensive back Hayden Peters was named the StFX Football Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 18, 2015. Hayden, a fourth year Human Kinetics student from Inverary, ON continued his strong play on the X-Men defense in their 30-6 win over SMU. He had one solo and one assisted tackle and a big interception which he returned for 37 yards in the second quarter. 

X-Men Football Special Teams Player of the Week
X-Men kicker Jonathan Heidebrecht was named the StFX Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 18, 2015. Jonathan, a first year Business student from Camrose, AB scored 12 points in the X-Men's 30-6 win over SMU on Saturday. He kicked three field goals from 31, 21, and 48 yards out, along with three point-after kicks. His 48 yard FG was his longest kick of the season to date. He also had 4 kick-offs for 233 yards in the game, averaging 58.3 yards/kick.
