X-Men Football Offensive Player of the Week
X-Men wide receiver Jordan Catterall was named the StFX Football Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 5, 2014. Jordan, a fourth year Business student (5th year eligibility) from Oakville, Ont., was the top receiver for the X-Men in their 37-20 win over Acadia Saturday. He had 4 receptions for 85 yards, including a 55 yard touchdown pass in the 3rd quarter that gave the X-Men a 30-13 advantage in the game. Jordan is currently fourth overall in AUS receiving, averaging 62.0 yards per game.

X-Men Football Defensive Player of the Week
X-Men defensive back Paolo Edwards was named the StFX Football Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 5, 2014. X-Men football defensive back Paolo Edwards was named the StFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 5, 2014. Paolo, a third year Arts student (2nd year eligibility) from Hamilton, Ont., was the player of the game in the X-Men's 37-20 victory over Acadia Saturday. Paolo had two interceptions in the game, including one he returned for a 48 yard touchdown late in the second quarter to give the X-Men an 18-6 lead at the time. He also had 3 break-ups in the game and 3.5 tackles on the X-Men defense.

X-Men Football Special Teams Player of the Week
X-Men punt returner Randy Roseway was named the StFX Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 5, 2014. Randy, a fourth year Arts student (3rd year eligibility) from Ottawa, Ont. had a thrilling 81 yard punt return for a touchdown Saturday late in the 3rd quarter to help secure the X-Men's 37-20 victory over Acadia. He had 5 total punt returns in the game for 115 yards, along with 1 kick-off return for 7 yards. On offense, Randy contributed 2 rushes for 17 yards and 3 receptions for 37 yards.
