Running back Chris Reid of the Mount Allison Mounties is the Atlantic University Sport football offensive player of the week for the week ending Sept. 21, 2014.
Reid, a 5-foot-6, first-year arts student from Brampton, Ont., had 167 rushing yards on 28 carries in Saturday's 39-8 victory over the Saint Mary's Huskies.
He posted two rushing touchdowns as well as two receptions for 50 yards in the game which marked his first-ever AUS start.

Linebacker Andrew Smith of the St. Francis Xavier X-Men is the Atlantic University Sport football defensive player of the week.
A first-year business student from Whitby, Ont., Smith had 5.5 tackles (five solo and one assisted) in the X-Men's 38-29 win over the Acadia Axemen on Saturday.
He also had two tackles for a loss of four yards and added an interception return for seven yards in the crucial final minutes of the game.
Special Teams Player of the Week
Name: Kyle McLean
University: Mount Allison University
Position: Kicker/punter
Hometown: Nepean, Ont.
Year of eligibility: Fourth
Academic program: BA Geography
Height and weight: 6'2", 215lbs
Kicker and punter Kyle McLean of the Mount Allison Mounties is the Atlantic University Sport football special teams player of the week.
A third-year geography student in his fourth year of eligibility, McLean had 10 punts for a total 338 yards (33.8 avg.) in Saturday's win over Saint Mary's. The Nepean, Ont. native also successfully completed a touchdown run following a faked field goal attempt.
On offence, McLean completed a kickoff return for 10 yards.
