X-Men football announce second wave of recruits

ANTIGONISH, NS – X-Men football head coach Gary Waterman is pleased to announce a second wave of commitments of to the StFX football program for the 2014 season which includes 23 athletes.

"This second announcement of recruits adds to what we feel is an outstanding recruiting class," comments Coach Waterman. "Each of these individuals represents the type of student-athletes that we want associated with our program. I am excited to watch them grow and mature together as a group over the next several years."

On the defensive side of the ball, the X-Men are welcoming the following 12 athletes:

David Dean, DL, 6'3", 220 lbs from Halifax, N.S.

Adam Kuntz, 5'11", 235 lbs from Edmonton, Alta.

The announcement follows a previous commitment of 17 athletes this past February. The X-Men will open training camp in late August with their first AUS regular season game scheduled for September 5th at Saint Mary's.
