Subway STFX Male Athlete of the Week

X-Men Basketball forward Nic Niare was named the STFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 30, 2025. Nic, a first year Business student from Hamilton, ON played a big game for the X-Men in their 86-68 win on the road Saturday night against Cape Breton. He netted a team-high 21 points – his best career tally thus far this season. Nic also had 9 rebounds and 1 steal on the night and has been impressive for the X-Men in his first year with the White and Blue. He is currently averaging 10.8 points/game and 6.9 rebounds/game on the season.
