Subway STFX Male Athlete of the Week
X-Men Soccer midfielder Dyan Vil was named STFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 30, 2023. Dyan, a fourth year Business student (3rd year eligibility) from Ottawa, ON scored two goals and had an assist in two X-Men wins this weekend. In Friday’s 6-1 win over MtA, he scored the game winning goal, and followed up with another solid performance and a goal in STFX’s 4-0 win over UPEI on Saturday. Dyan, a strong defender, has consistently been one of the best players this season for the X-Men. He is currently tied for 4th overall in the AUS in goals (3) and points (5) this season.
