X-Women Hockey forward Ellie Brown was named the STFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Feb. 12, 2023. Ellie, a second year Arts student from Kemptville, Ont. had five points in two wins this week. In Wednesday’s 4-1 win over DAL, Ellie scored one goal, then followed up with a four-point game in STFX’s 7-1 win over MtA on Friday night. She was named player of the game scoring two goals and adding a pair of assists. Ellie wrapped up the AUS season 11th overall in AUS scoring with 22 points including 10 goals and 12 assists.
