X-Men Soccer midfielder Max Bodurtha was named STFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 2, 2022. Max, a second year Business student from Halifax, N.S., played two strong games in Newfoundland for the X-Men in a close loss against Memorial Saturday and a victory on Sunday. In Sunday’s 3-1 win, Max’s defensive work was exceptional in an important road victory and he received player of the game honours. Max saw time with the Halifax Wanderers U23 program this past summer and has started all six games for the X-Men to date.
