X-Men Cross Country runner Jacob Benoit was named STFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 18, 2022. Jacob, a fourth year Human Kinetics student from Windsor, NS was the individual race winner in the first meet of the AUS season on his home course Saturday afternoon at the STFX Invitational. Jacob topped the field of 40 runners in the 8 km race with a time of 26.12, leading his X-Men to a second place team finish, just five points back of the Tigers. Jacob is a reigning AUS all-star and was the 2021 AUS silver medalist.
