X-Men Soccer midfielder Kyle Cordeiro was named STFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 12, 2021. Kyle, a second year Science/Engineering student from Oakville, ON played two strong games for the X-Men in two weekend wins, controlling the midfield in both matches. In Friday’s 2-1 win over UPEI he scored the game winning goal and received player of the game honours. In both games he brought a drive to the X-Men attack, leaving everything on the field. He lead by example and showed leadership when faced with tough pushes from two strong opponents.
