X-Men Hockey defenseman Santino Centorame was named STFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 3, 2022. Santino, a fifth year Business student from Mississauga, ON was named a tournament all-star as the captain of the X-Men team helped lead them both on and off the ice to a U SPORTS bronze medal this past weekend. He scored a goal and had an assist in three games as the X-Men defeated Brock in the quarterfinals, lost to Alberta in the semifinal, then re-grouped to beat Ryerson 3-2 in overtime in the bronze medal game. Santino was also honoured as a U SPORTS second team all-Canadian defenseman this week.
