X-Men Hockey forward Will Bower was named STFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Feb. 20, 2022. Will, a fourth year Business student from Saint John, NB had four points in two weekend wins and was strong on face-offs in both games. In Saturday’s 3-2 win over Acadia, Will scored the X-Men’s first goal and was 61.9% on FO wins (13-21). In Sunday’s 7-4 win over SMU, he was the second star of the game with three assists and was 80% on FO’s (16-20). Leading 4-3 heading into the 3rd period, Will assisted on all three goals in the period to help secure the X-Men win.
