X-Women Rugby No. 8 player Tashayla Tynes was named the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending November 8, 2020. Tay, a 2nd year Arts student from Halifax, NS has been the most consistent player for the X-Women over their series of intra-squad games. She led her team in yards gained over the past two weeks with her impressive ball carrying skills, and was also sound on defense coming up with several big tackles.
