X-Women Basketball guard Aliyah Fraser was named the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 25, 2020. Aliyah, a 2nd year Science/Health student from New Glasgow, NS was the X-Women Basketball PACE Player of the Week and was game MVP as leading scorer of their weekly Friday scrimmage. Aliyah is noticeably transitioning from a ‘leader by example’ to a ‘verbal leader’ in practices and off the court. This past week she represented StFX by promoting Keep it Social, an AUS social media & video initiative to promote safe socializing practices on university campuses.
