X-Women rugby center Sarah Hoerig was named the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 15, 2019. Sarah, a third year Business student from Whitby, Ont., continued her strong play for the X-Women in their 81-7 victory over SMU on Saturday. Sarah was excellent in both offense and defense and scored two tries in the opening half to build up the StFX lead in the game. A 2018 AUS all-star, she was awarded player of the game honours for her efforts.
