X-Women hockey goaltender Carley Molnar was named the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Mar. 3, 2019. Carley, a fourth year Arts student (3rd year eligibility) from London, ON backstopped the X-Women to a 4-0 shutout victory Sunday night in Game 1 of the AUS finals on the road against St. Thomas. Carley was named player of the game and had 25 saves on the night. She picked up her third consecutive playoff win for the X-Women and currently leads all AUS goalies in the playoffs with a .967 save percentage and 1.00 goals against average.
